I usually buy seeds from The Real Seeds Company which is based in South Wales. They’ve never disappointed me neither in the quality of seed nor in the selection of seeds available. However, this year, I decided to throw the net out a little bit closer to home and try out seeds from Medwyn’s of Anglesey. What instigated this decision was the opportunity to grow a new tomato called ‘Y Ddraig Goch’.
The seeds arrived in good time and I started to sow them at the end of February. I was surprised at the amount of seeds in each packet, to be fair the quantity of seeds per pack is clearly noted on the website. However once in my hand it was noticeable how little there were compared to similar packets from other companies. Maybe it’s quality over quantity. Time will tell and I’ll be sure to let you know.
